Actually, no, they didn't care for it. But the point was actually showing that you could layer it by pouring the drink with the heaviest sugar content first, then the second heaviest and so on. You have to gently pour the liquid directly on the ice in order to keep it from mixing. I wish I'd have had blue or green gatorade. I just did it with what we had and it was harder to see the difference. The example I saw used cranberry juice, blue gatorade and then diet 7-up. I also didn't have a totally clear glass glass.
I am a mother of four girls, ages 5 through 19; I've been married to their daddy for 20 years. My loves? family, scrapbooking, photography, playing the piano, Inspiration novels and the Broncos (mostly because of Peyton Manning)...not necessarily in that order =) Let me share a bit more about two things on that list…
Scrapbooking: As a paper scrapper since Feb 2002 and a digi scrapper since January 2007, I much prefer to touch and feel my products. But sometimes I just don't want to create another mess in my house on purpose. So I love having options to be creative without making more work for later.
Photography: My kids are convinced that I was born with a camera in my hands. Some pause and pose while others run, duck, grimace or roll their eyes. At this point, I know nothing about flawless composition or F stops but I love trying to get that “perfect shot”.
A few weeks ago, I challenged myself to try to take a picture each day throughout the summer. The photos didn't need to be fabulous. Just a shot of something we did, somewhere we went or something around the house that shows our everyday lives. I also extended the challenge to the members of the Yahoo groups to which I belong. This project served more than one purpose. #1 I wanted to be able to look back at the end of summer and realize we actually DID something. And #2 I wanted to make myself accountable TO do something - even if it's small - with the girls every few days. You’ll notice that, yep, I’ve missed some days but I’ve also had too good of memories to limit it to one photo on other days. I’m basically trying to remember to purposefully get photos of events that would otherwise go undocumented. Enjoy!

It looks beautiful. Does it taste good?
